The Cader 2×4 is our compact modular raised garden bed kit engineered for tight spaces without sacrificing strength or performance. Handcrafted in Oregon from locally milled Western Red and Incense Cedar. It features the same Professional Shou Sugi Ban, An ancient Japanese technique that naturally preserves the Cedar for decades. With out any harmful chemicals or toxins! A healthy alternative to longevity that stands out! We have spent years developing our modernized adaptation, Honoring the Japanese heritage. modular frame system used across all Liberty Jones planters – built to stay straight, grow healthy and last for decades outdoors.
Our cedar raised garden bed has narrower footprint makes it ideal for patios, decks, small yards, rental properties, and greenhouse rows, while still offering deep root space and excellent airflow for vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Available in our refined Shou Sugi Ban finish, Pure Cedar, or Raw Cedar for DIYers. The Shou Sugi Ban process creates a deep, rich tone while the charred cedar surface adds long-lasting protection and a striking architectural look.
