The Liberty Jones “Brenin” 4×4 is a premium cedar raised garden bed handcrafted in Oregon and finished with authentic Yakisugi. More commonly kn ow as “Shou Sugi Ban” is the ancient Japanese process of charring cedar to preserve the wood for decades. We have perfected this process of burning and oiling over years. Built with locally milled Western Red and Incense Cedar, the Brenin uses our modular system for a simple setup, and an easy expansion. Engineered for decades of outdoor life and high-performance growing. Available in three finishes and three metal colors: ForgeTec® Yakisugi, Pure (sealed), and Raw cedar.
