Welcome to Liberty Jones Planters (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing from our website or using our services, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully.

1. Use of Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and not to copy, redistribute, or misuse any content or images without written consent.

2. Handcrafted Product Variance

Our planters are built from natural, locally milled cedar and finished by hand.
By purchasing, you acknowledge that:

• Natural Variation is Expected: Color, grain pattern, knots, texture, and char finish will vary.

• Size Tolerances: Dimensions may vary by up to ±¼ inch due to milling and assembly by hand.

• Finish Differences: Yakisugi charring, brushing, and oil absorption patterns are unique to each piece. Slight surface irregularities, tone differences, and sheen levels are normal and part of the design.

• Environmental Aging: Cedar will naturally silver, darken, or check (develop hairline cracks) over time — this does not affect structural integrity and is not considered a defect.

These characteristics are part of the product’s authenticity and do not qualify for returns, exchanges, or claims.

3. Orders & Payment

• All prices are in USD and subject to change without notice.

• Orders are built-to-order. Production begins only after full payment.

• We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order.

4. Shipping & Delivery

• Delivery timelines are estimates. We are not responsible for delays beyond our control (carrier issues, weather, material shortages).

• Inspect your order upon delivery and notify us within 48 hours of any shipping damage. Clear photos are required for claims.

5. Installation & Assembly

Our planters are designed for DIY assembly using included instructions. Incorrect assembly, modification, or use may void your warranty.

6. Warranty

We offer a 50-year structural warranty for normal residential use.
The warranty covers structural failure of cedar framing and manufacturing defects.

It does not cover:

• Normal wood movement, checking, splitting, or fading.

• Damage from neglect, misuse, improper soil loads, or failure to maintain annually with Formula J or approved equivalent.

• Improper installation or modification.

• Commercial use unless approved in writing.

7. Returns & Cancellations

• Returns are accepted within 30 days for unused, unassembled products in original packaging.

• Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless due to our error.

• Custom or made-to-order products may be subject to restocking fees.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, product names, designs, images, and trademarks are property of Liberty Jones Planters and may not be used without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Liberty Jones Planters is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product.
